TWEED AND FRIDAY - START

This work has been commissioned by my parents Bill and Geraldine Wilson, to commemorate the family dogs, Tweed (West Highland Terrier) and Friday (Shepherd-Husky Cross).

The dogs will be carved on mammoth ivory. I have taken two different pictures of the dogs and combined them into one composite image, using Photoshop. I have then used Photoshop to outline the major sculptural planes of the dogs on a separate layer, then printed the layer to apply to the ivory.
