TWEED AND FRIDAY - PHASE 1

November 29, 2004

In this first phase, I have applied the paper cut-out line drawing to the ivory with a glue stick, outlined it in pencil crayon and then cut away the ivory around the outline.

I have retained a section of the ivory on the left, in order to hold the ivory in a vice while I work. When the carving is finished, this section will be cut away.
