TRIBUTE TO MICHIO - PHASE 5

I have been away for the past phase. It is good to leave a project for a while and return to it with fresh eyes.

I find now that I like the stylized lines of the neck. However, I do see areas that could use a little touching up. These have been highlighted in pencil.

Thanks to Gerry Kortello for his valuable critique on the shape of the upper neck. He noticed that it was a little too thick. He also suggested undercutting the eyes a little more, which should help them to stand out more clearly.

Since the basic form of the work is now evident from the photos posted previously, I will now offer close-up shots so that you may better see the finishing process.
