This work has been commissioned by Vanessa Innes-McNeil of the Yukon Hospital Foundation. Her intention for the work will be to serve as an icon for an upcoming fundraising effort, with the theme, "Under Our Wing." At some point during the campaign, the carving will be auctioned off in order to help raise funds for the campaign. Vanessa chose this image of a tundra swan, as representative of her intention for the campaign.
