FARO FANNIN - PHASE 7 |
February 6, 2001
The horizontal plane revealed when the mountains were removed was a little too distracting, so the horizontal has been lowered in this phase to follow the line of action through the sheep and down past the stump on the right. This allows for even greater exposure of both root structures and creates a little more negative space under the sheep. As a result, greater depth can be achieved in the large root sections and the legs.
The next step will be to further refine the shapes on the ground, to round the large root sections and to define the planes of the smaller root segments.
Till next time (8 days till show time!),
Shane
