The torch was carried in a canoe, accompanied by one of the Midnight Sun Bagpipers. It was then transferred to Ramesh Ferris, representing disabled athletes, who carried it on a hand bike. Ferris then passed the torch to community member Joyce Young, who carried the torch on foot and passed it onto two community youth in a horse-drawn carriage. The event ended with a community barbecue where Brian Lendrum recited Robert Service and played music on his guitar. The speaker was Lindsay Agar of the 2007 Canada Winter Games Host Society and special guests included the Midnight Sun Bagpipers, Ramesh Ferris and Brian Lendrum.

Les porteurs ont transporté le flambeau en canot, accompagnés par un de les Midnight Sun Bagpipers. Le flambeau a ensuite été transmis à Ramesh Ferris, représentant des athlètes handicapés, qui a porté le flambeau en vélo à main. Le relais s’est poursuivi avec Joyce Young, membre de la communauté, qui a porté le flambeau à pieds avant de le transmettre à deux jeunes de la collectivité qui étaient à bord d’une voiture tirée par des chevaux. Le relais communautaire s'est terminé par un barbecue au cours duquel Brian Lendrum a récité quelques vers de Robert Service et joué de la guitare. Lindsay Agar était la conférencière pour cette manifestation et les Midnight Sun Bagpipers, Ramesh Ferris et Brian Lendrum étaient les invités spéciaux.
